Our Glamour Makeovers

Hey Guys!!
Last October I was invited to New York City for a Makeover with Glamour Magazine( I had to keep this a secret till now, it was HARD). To be honest I was hesitant because if they cut my hair then it will be another 4 years before I would have long hair again. But luckily, the Glamour crew had other plans in mind. They were thinking something along the lines of Runway style, you know- over the top. And they were very successful in achieving that hairstyle. Lots of curls and volume!!! But other than that.. what a dream come true. I have never been to New York, and I was going all by myself, what an independent adventure.
I left my hometown around 6 AM, seriously ready to cancel because I was soo tired. You know, I am not a morning person. I arrived around 6 PM, checked in at the Hotel then walked all over Time Square till the street lights turned on 
I had the best thin crust pizza for dinner there.. and I usually like pan pizza. Tried to meet up with Koren, but time ran out and I was in way too late. 
I woke up about 7:30 AM the next day(4:30AM, Pacific time) I had to be at Jack Studios early!!!! I figured I’d make it on time since I just had to rolled out of bed and scampered on over there. I did not anticipate a SLIGHT hiccup in my route. This guy from the hotel got me a cab and I showed him where my destination was. WHY THE HECK DID I GET DROPPED OFF IN FRONT OF MARTHA STEWART’S Talk show BUILDING!!!!????!!!! So needless to say I was lost and confused since I never been to N.Y. before. And it was like out of a movie, Rain started coming down, when 5 minutes before that, it was sunny. I tried to ask a few people for help,but apparently the no one wanted to help or knew where Jack Studios was. I gave Madeline (from Glamour) a jingle and she told me I needed to hop back in a cab.. etc…etc.. So I put my hand out (like in the movies) to get a Taxi. “Wow” it really works.. 2 min later I was back in a cab and on my way I was about 15 min late, hair was frizzy and drenched, I was flustered and nervous (smellin’ like wet dog j/k) since I had no idea what to expect and I was already lost and late. Ahh but I arrived safe and sound 
I met finally Suze and Madeline, I have been chatting with them so much on the phone I felt like I knew them for years. Met Jeanine Lobell for makeup and Ashley Javier for cut and color. Everyone was soo sweet.. They really can work their magic!
Ok.. that’s enough of an intro.. on to the pics and video!!!
I am not sure if we are all going to make the magazine but one of the wonderful youtubers will be there!

Fellow youtubers Amy, Madeline and Alison) (no video)were all soo sweet and fun. I wish I was able to get to know them better, but it was such a busy run and gun day I hardly even had time to eat
I left early cause my flight was taking off at 6 PM (would you believe I only had 10 min to check in and go through security..I made it though :))
This is my first time seeing these fabulous before and after pics. Don’t they look smashin?!!!

If you were wondering…
- They did Bleach my hair
- Dyed it light brown
- Looked too red and too light at the same time
- Then I went to warm brown (YEA.. all in one day!)
- Now it is still warm brown with highlights on top and bangs! (fringes:P)

Madeline’s hair looks like Haley (bethany) from One Tree Hill! It’s gorgeous. Congrats on the homepage picture! I went right over to check it out.

Do you remember what make-up that they used on you? I’d be interested in what foundation and concealer that they used. Have you told us what you use on a daily basis for those two items??
Oh wait, I just realized that they probably say what they used in the video. Wow, good thing that the week is almost over, Im practically useless!
I finally figured out who the side picture reminds of….Song Hye Kyo…probably the most beautiful Korean actress ever. Something about that picture and your lips that reminds me of her.
What did she use on your face? From the concealor to foundation and powder.
