Make Up For Ever definately falls on the higher end of cosmetic products for me. But right now my Make Up Forever Collection has been growing quite rapidly. It all started with that Diamonds Forever Box last Christmas. Now I can’t step into Sephora without picking something up. I figured $20 here and there isn’t that bad. Especially their cream liners.. OMG why can’t they make more colors!!!??!!
Ok back to the product at hand. The HD Powder. .. yes it’s nice and smooth and soft, but is it worth the money?
This product definately falls into the realm of “Pricey, but lasts for a long time” I have had this sample for a while, and I haven’t even begun to put a dent in it. Kinda smells a bit powdery, but once you get past that part I think this product really does reduce a heck of a lot of shine. If you are looking for something that seals your foundation then this is perfect. Doesn’t sit in fine lines or amplifies wrinkles. Thank goodness!!!
I find that a nice buffer brush does the trick, if you want to do matchy matchy MUFE will be launching a brush in August. For $30.00 this product can be found at Sephora and Sephora.com.
My suggestion… check it out at Sephora.. feel the texture and application.. its amazing!!!!

Coastal Scents and Pure Luxe sells 100% silica for fraction of the cost. I personally have used Pure Luxe’s silica and loved it! I also gave it to my sis in law (who is in her early 50s) and she totally LOVED it too. =)
I’ve been curious about loose powders..maybe I’ll drop by the Sephora and see if they have this sample available for me! (I got the Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance sample last time I was there yay!) Oh and btw, I love your nails! What color is that?
I purchased this powder and I really like it!
I’ve tried plenty of “transparent” loose powders in the past and was often disappointed because it wasn’t all that transparent on my skin tone. This powder is great at reducing shine and smooths over those uneven areas. I also found that a little goes a long way.

i like this powder too, i sTILL have the delux sample sephora gave me and it works like a charm . i just have to put it in my oilier sections and im good. i do agree tho it does smell kind of powdery but there is a LOT of product in just the sample
