Cuticle Saver During those Harsh Winters
I think I had my first experience with the coming Winter today. It was freezing, raining and super windy. In fact, so windy a tree fell on someone’s car.
Lately ,I have been on a nail kick. I think it is because my nails are finally back to a decent state. I don’t break too many nails, but I have noticed that I break a lot of nails when handling luggage during my travels
BLEH! Try three in one swoop.. disaster!!!
How do you keep your hands soft all Winter?
During the cold winter months our hands need extra care and attention.
- Cause it HURTS like a MOFO when cuticles crack.. can we say NO to Hangnails?
- Nail polish just looks better
- Your nail beds are protected from bacteria
So to beat the pain of dry cuticles I recommend using cuticle oil or some sort of moisturizer. I have been using the two that I got from Cosmoprof during the summer. There are other brands that carry products that do the same trick but I can vouch for these. I like the oil one for night time because it can get a bit messy during the day. Especially if you use a lot of it at one time. The other one works well for both day and night. But if you are on a budget sometimes good ole Vaseline works too, however it doesn’t protect from bacteria. It’s just a good quick fix when you are in a jam.

They work best at night because it doesn’t interfere with your daily to-dos. It kinda feels sticky on the fingertips and smells like menthol. So if you are suffering from a cold feel free to take a whiff
Disclaimer: While in Vegas I met the VP of Art of Beauty and after discussing my nail issues he recommended this to me and gave me a sample.

My nails have been breaking lately. My nails grow pretty good but this cold weather in Colorado is just a killer to your nails. Thank you for the review.
i’m constantly washing my hands because of work, and now that its winter, my hands are not only dry, but COOLD! so it gets that stiff ashy feeling..
definitely NOT fun at all..
I really get dry hands because I OD on the alcohol. These two would be great to try!
Thanks a lot
I have a Hugo Boss body lotion that i love for my hands.. i just use it whenever my hands feel dry.. I HATE dry skin.. i can’t stand it.. i have a problem with how it feels.. it smells gorgeous and it doesn’t have a thick consistency..
looks great
i just use lots of lotion like when im putting lotion on my legs after a shower i rub my hands and stuff like that
Carmex is great too and I always have some handy.
I’m always looking for a great cuticle cream.
The Cuticle Cream by Burt’s Bees makes the cuticles look nice all day but I don’t feel like it’s a lasting moisturizing effect.
