As promised here is a look from Beauty From the Earth. This one is super simple and very sultry. I like to call it Sultry Greens, maybe a St. Patrick’s Day inspiration?

I wrote this post before seeing their latest twitter. I am going to leave this up.
My heart and prayers goes out to Crystal’s family. I will leave this post up because I am sure that any purchases made will contribute to any financial responsibilities that are needed. But I am going to take any other sad words off line since I want it to remain private. XO Elessa
Beauty from the Earth mineral shadows have been one of my favorite mineral shadows for a long time. I’ve known the Crystal for over 3 years and she has been always super kind and supportive of vloggers. She was one of the first supporters and did a huge giveaway for pursebuzz.com back in early 2007. I am so happy that at the recent visit to TMS we were FINALLY able to meet in person.
She gave me this bag with a bunch of samples to try out and have some fun. Since I was doing that I figured I’d snap some pics while I was at it.
I am going to do a full review tomorrow. It took ages to do swatches but I did pick out my super faves. I am gonna do some quick looks too <3

BFTE Sales and New Website

I have worked with Beauty From the Earth aka BFTE for a very long time and I am so proud of their new website. (LOOKS AMAZING) ;) Along with the site, there is a sale!!!
Check out the swatches and my old review below

- Shamrock- Light brighter green, shimmery. It’s not as green as your traditional Irish Green.
- ***Green Apple- Bright and iridescent green. Goes on smooth and pigmented. Definitely a must for the green eye shadow lovers.
- Amaryllis- Cranberry-rust. This might be popular to some, but I just didn’t think it would work with my eyes. I find it to be something fun to have, but not something I’d reach for frequently.
- **Tangerine-Ohh this color is pretty. This is perfect for those who want to try out orange but don’t want to really commit to it. It’s a sheer orange shimmer. Very pretty for Spring and Summer.
- *****Whisper- This one is my favorite. It’s a great highlighter and inner corner color. It has a subtle blue-pink to it that complements any blues, purple, and pink shadows. Also great for your lips, on your middle bottom part of your lip for a sexy pout.
- ***Peacock- This is a great color. This is a little bit more intense than M.A.C’s peacock. Definitely something to get if you are looking for the new trendy ‘08 color.
- *****Blueberry-Another hot 2008 color. If you are following trends then you know bright blues and oranges are in Vogue. I recommend this color to anyone who wants a bright blue with a lot of shimmer.
- Sea Green- This is a soft shimmery green. It has subtle frosts of white to it. It’s pretty, but not my first pick.
Overall the color pay off on the ones I starred are amazing. I really like it. Use it with your favorite mixing medium, and primer (Too Faced) the ultimate color pay off. I recommend the MAC 239 or something similar. That way your shadow will be on your eyes and not your face and clothes. The rest are nice, but would not be my first pick. If you had to choose, I would definitely get
(In this order)
• WHISPER
• Blueberry
• Green Apple
• Peacock
• Tangerine
• Sea Green
• Shamrock
• Amaryllis
