Coastalscents Smacks Swatches

Coastalscents has just released 4 new colors of their Smacks . Great price if you can’t decide what color you want and you want to pick and choose a few.
These are not super sticky but do feel like typical lipgloss texture. They apply smooth and give off a slight tingly feeling. Perhaps a slight lip plumper?
I had some trouble with the stoppers from the other shades but these 4 work great.
$2.95 each

Coastalscents.com Gel Liner Swatches
October 19, 2009 by admin

Coastalscents.com has just recently released 10 new gel liners to their collection. Last year they released a mix of frosty and creme liners and they worked brilliantly as a base.
This year they have released 10 more and this time some have a little bit of flair- blacks with shimmer, blacks with gold, teals with gold..
Highly Pigmented Gel liners/ eyeshadow base that last all day and are extremely affordable.

All of these are frosty
- Summer Fun- Frosty neutral peach
- Gold Bliss-dirty gold
- Feline-muted teal with hints of gold. This one reminds me of MAC Steamy shadow. Pretty colour but if you don’t use a firm angle brush the gel liner balls up.
- Flirtacious - hot pink
- Beach Glass- fresh aqua with glitter. I don’t like this one as much because of the glitter. The color is great, but when you use the gel liner as a base and then apply the shadow on top the small glitter pieces don’t sparkle, they are just covered with powder leaving a gritty look.
- Boom Boom- Deep warm brown
- Stellar- Jet Black with shimmer. This one is super pretty. Super rich and opaque. My fave!
- Esctasy- Reddish brown
- Wicked- Faint silver. This one is really sheer
- Exotic-Black with a gold swirl

Overall, I recommend these liners to anyone looking for a bargain. At $6.95 and then occasional discount they are practically giving it away.

Just some random 78 shadows on top of the gel liner to show intensity.

CoastalScents.com Concealer Swatches

I haven’t officially tested these out but from the quick swatch test these are full coverage concealers that work best when layered (don’t cake it on). I am going to try them out now since being on your “dot” helps your complexion explode into some ugly goodness ( pimples cause of your period if you didn’t know what I meant). That’s really going to tell us if these are good or just your typical concealer.
Available at: coastalscents.com
The medium works best with my skin tone. I am usually an NC20 at MAC and second-third to lightest in neutral foundations.

Creative Me #1 Swatches and Review Coastalscents.com

I just got this Creative Me #1 from Coastalscents.com and I am super impressed. All of the colours are matte so if you have a hard time with blending then I would skip this one. But they are extremely pigmented and bright. If you want it and do have a hard time blending I suggest using a frosty base like Urban Decay Sin, you will LOVE it!!!
I just used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Creative Me colours

Sniffle sniffle my poor wittle lashes. I started my Li Lash up again last week. I am glad I tested it out and know that after 2 months your lashes go back to normal, but since I love the lashes …I am back to using it
Mink Lashes

Ohhh Mink Lashes are so fancy pants. I have never thought of trying Mink lashes, I always felt they were for the J-Lo’s of the world. Hm.. but this might be my chance to try out luxury. Coastalscents.com is now carrying them at low prices. :)
Have you ever tried Mink lashes?
Get the look that all of the celebrities are raving about!
Oprah, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez wear mink lashes, now you can too!
MinkEye false lashes are hand made using 100% mink fur that has been gently combed from the animal. Mink eyelashes offer the most natural look in the industry from everyday to glamorous. A pair of Minkeye lashes can be used over and over, unlike synthetic lashes. We offer extremely elegant lashes also, these are adorned with Genuine Swarovski Crystals.
Mink Eyelashes have been a trend in Hollywood and celebrity fashion for years, however the high pricing ($150 - $800) made it impossible for most of us to afford this luxury.
Each handmade pair is packaged in a designer keepsake box that includes instructions and glue. When you are done wearing your lashes simply place them back in the case to hold shape. Minkeye lashes can be gently cleaned with makeup remover.
Note: Mink Eyelashes are made of individually selected mink fur hairs that have been harvested by gently brushing live farm animals. Mink eyelashes are not cruel to animals in any way! They are sterilized and Hypo-Allergenic.
