Here is a my Dior Summer 09 look after a nap(it was either homework or nap, that’s a no brainer). The colors look pretty intense to me. YAY!!!!

Ok time to snooze again.. I hate Sunday nights, cause it is going to be another manic Monday LOL.. toodles all.

Dior Summer 2009 Color Pop-Review and Swatches

Dior Summer Color Pop is super pretty and I had to splurge. Right now at Macy’s with any purchase of Two items you can get a free gift. While the contents of the gift are lame and itty bitty, it’s better than just buying the makeup without a promotion. The bag is super cute and comes with a mirror too!

Here is what I walked away with…

• Ultra Gloss in 377- Out of the two this was the most shimmery and prettiest. The Coral like one was pretty , but I had to limit myself to just one. This was $25.50 BUT it is also .21 oz, which means it’s way cheaper than MAC’s Dazzleglass and many other drugstore products.  Check the ounces to see how much you really are getting for your dollar It’s shimmery like Dazzleglass minus the thick stickiness. Sheer rosy pink with small particles of glitter.
• Shadows Electric Lights- 5 pretty colors, which once on your lids.. Looks a lot like MAC’s a Rose Romance. I wonder who started the trend first? See swatches, the middle one looks blue  but comes out deep purple on me.  I love how it comes with a velvet pouch
• Shimmer Diamond Pop- OMG this is the best out of all three of the shimmer powders. I have all three and I am hooked. This will last me till the end of time. Good thing it’s powder so I don’t think it will go bad anytime soon. Pouch included too!

I didn’t get-

• Waterproof Iconic Mascara- I don’t like waterproof mascara, only use it if I have to.
• Dior ‘DiorKiss’ Gloss Grenadine Sirup- It was a pretty creamy looking gloss, but I just didn’t buy it. For swatch -check out the nail polish below. It’s the exact same.
• Nail polish- Just not my type of color. It’s creamy and intense, but I just wasn’t in the mood for that particular shade.
  
• Waterproof eyeliners- They were soft and creamy, but didn’t catch my eyes.  I bet the price wasn’t going to be pretty.. lol
• Dior Addict High Shine Lipstick- These were pretty but I passed on them. Sheer glaze lipstick.
  
• Dior Addict ‘Lip Glow’ Color Reviver Balm- This is suppose to change colors and darken with your body heat. (“Responds to the color chemistry of your own lips to create a shade uniquely yours”). When I was little I had those mood lipsticks (my mom thought was clear gloss) LOL it turned this awful hot pink after 20 minutes. I don’t want that to happen with this so I passed on it.

My store didn’t have the pink shadow yet.. she said June???

For those of you who have been asking #189 is now available at Dior Counters in the US.

I saw the stand with the latest Dior Spring line at my local Macy’s.  I wasn’t able to indulge in it since we were pressed for time. But everything looked soft and simple.
