M·A·C ANNOUNCES “ARE YOU A M·A·C ORIGINAL?”CONTEST
In celebration of its new Originals Collection.
I had the opportunity to attend the M.A.C original contest in LA a few weeks ago . Got my photo snapped and it was posted up along with many others. I had three photos but I was only able to keep one, I will scan that and post it up this week. It was at the 24 hour Paperstore down in LA. So you will see all the items that were for sale in the pics below.

Here is my entry
Yup, they were open for 24 hours straight with two DJs there the whole time. All you have to do is get creative and put a whole bunch of picture frames on you and they snap a Polaroid. If you look real closely to the video you can see John Stapleton and his tips on Thanksgiving. LOL what a sweetie.
Here is a video of my trip, some of the shots were cut off, but that’s just how the cookie crumbled.
You can attend too, and hopefully you will win. Good Luck
Special thanks to Heather for filming when I wasn’t able to.
Lipgloss Question
- So I officially finished my first Stila Lip Glaze in Apricot. YUM YUM!! Thank goodness I have another 5 left to go. Tee hee. If you are anything like me you will have lipgloss in every stash-a-ble place possible.
- Here is a fun contest all about lips. Starsmakeuphaven.com has donated tons of makeup to our Holiday /Christmas Give-A-Way. The prize consists of makeup from Stila, M.A.C pigment samples and melted lipsticks, Two Faced,Urban Decay, and more.. from samples to full size.
- All you have to do is put in the comments why do you wear lipgloss?
- Where are all the normal and weird places you stash your glosses and lipsticks.
Simple enough right? There will be one lucky winner who will win this great prize. Anyone from around the world can enter. The winner will be announced December 10th.
Good Luck!!!
As always Pursebuzz.com has the right to change prizes and contest rules. But for now it’s pretty simple, leave a comment and I’ll randomly pick a winner
Thanks Starsmakeuphaven.com for donating your goodies to this contest. If you haven’t been to her site check it out. You can find discontinued products and pigment pressing pans too.
It’s a candy store for the makeup lover in your life.
Weekend Update
Hey everyone, how was your weekend? I had a great weekend but it went by way too fast. I went to my work party on Saturday and then on Sunday I was in LA. I was at the Kodak theater backstage with M.A.C checking out the makeup magic.

Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays everyone!!! I have been so busy having a blast going out to parties and just celebrating the fun Holiday Spirit. Since I can’t take you guys with me to the fun dances I figured why not have a video of me cutting a rug.

MAC’s Of Beauty Swatch
Of Beauty literally snuck up on me. I don’t know where I was when this was announced but I feel like this one was completely under the radar or I am just out of the loop. I thought I had time to save before these other new lines launched. And to be totally blunt.. I was on a high with my Curiositease … <3<3<3<3<3 tee hee.

MAC Brush Heirloom Sets

Here is a quick review on the Holiday Brush Sets. I didn’t take them out of the packages because they are going to probably go straight to my mom for the holidays. She over heard me talking about possibly giving her some MAC stuff the last time I was visiting. So this time when I was going over to visit her she called me to remind me to bring her MAC stuff. Who told her!!!
- Mom- “Don’t forget my MAC stuff you said you were going to give me, I heard you say something about it to R(my bf) the last time you were here..”
- Me- ” Uh.. what areee you talking about.. I didn’t say that, and why are you eavesdropping!!!… (totally trying to play it off, can we say busted :P)”
Oppsy me and my big mouth, I can’t keep secrets about presents. HAHA Why do mom’s have to hear and see everything. What she didn’t catch was the “Christmas present” part. My mom loves make up like me, or is it I am like her :P, she probably has stuff from 20 years ago that hasn’t been touched. Like mom like daughter

Yay.. brush sets are in the house!!!! HAHA
I know I’ll get asked this, so I am gonna say it now. Yes, these brushes are worth buying. I understand that individually they are more costly and the handles are longer. But if you are starting out, or if you travel or on a budget these brushes are wonderful. I have many many Special Edition ones and they are my favorites. You can always bring them back if you don’t like them. I doubt you will though. Not only are these cost efficient you get a cute bag too! I smell a winner!

Kids Helping Kids
Each purchase goes to the M·A·C AIDS Fund to help support pediatric AIDS. Super cute and creative gift cards and wrapping paper. Starting from$6.
