NYX Chrome Shadows
I love NYX (Pronounced as Nix) chrome shadows. I find them to be the next best thing since sliced bread. Especially if you are on a budget. You can find these at beauty supply stores, cherryculture.com, nyxcosmetics.com and small boutiques. Some colors are very similar to MAC’s pigments but come in a much smaller container. I was lucky enough to have a few that were almost dupe’s of MAC’s pigments so I added pics of those too.

OHh since NARS Night Series and NYX’s new colors are soo darn close I wanted to Play a quick game of Guess the Brand just for fun.
I have mixed up the colors and brands and want you to guess it.

NYX New Fall Shadows

NYX has released 10 distinctive new shades that are unique to NYX but fantastically similar to higher end brands.
Texture- Soft and can be crumbly if you aren’t careful. The powders are soft and buttery. Becareful or you will end up with loose pigment 
Color Payoff- Some are impressive without a base, but without some are really faint.
Overall- If you dreamed of owning NARS night shadows and want something similar at a fraction of the price look into these for sure! Nars is a bit more firmer but it’s pretty similar in shades. Black with colors
Color Breakdown
- Golden Amber- Dark warm brown with flecks of gold. Imagine a smooth NARS Galapagos
- Cryptonite -Frosty dark charcoal with lots of flecks of silver
- Smoke Mountain-Satin black with gold shimmers
- Skin Tight- Satin warm peachy nude with flecks of peachy gold flecks
- Red Pink-matte hot pink <3 (Dear NYX.. please make more like this !!!)
- Taupe Pearl- Ashy taupe. Think a creamy super soft MAC Satin Taupe
- Frosted Ocean- Dark black ocean blue with blue flecks
- Sensual-Dark black with red flecks (this one needs a base)
- Super Creamy- Sheer champagne with small flecks of champagne
- Exotic Green -Dark black forrest green with green flecks
These aren’t 100% like NARS, but if you are on a budget this is a great dupe.

NYX has released a handful of some really sparkling fall shades.
For the following look I used 3 of the 10 shades that were released. I also used the new Loreal Mascara Extra Volume, which flaked on my bottom lid. 
Looks great on the top lash but not my fave on the bottom lashes.
